Our Mission
A Community united in faith, bringing God’s love to the world.
Our Vision
Every parishioner experience God´s love using the liturgy and sacraments, ministry participation, prayer, and parish family life in such a way that he or she cannot help but become joyful and a missionary of Jesus Christ and his Gospel.
Prince of Peace Catholic Church Values
Every family fosters a set of values that makes it distinct and sets it apart from any other family. Prince of Peace, being also a family, makes it different from any faith-based family or community, thanks to the values it seeks to live and practice.
Love for Jesus Christ
As a “community united in faith bringing God’s love to the world”, Prince of Peace holds as the highest value of all, the love of Jesus: “He loved me and gave Himself up for me” (Gal 2:20). This means to foster God’s grace in one own’s soul in a special way, using a personal devotion to the Eucharist, the Sacrament of Love, using its constant reception in mass and adoration outside of the celebration of the Eucharist.
Honesty
Being devoted to Jesus means being devoted to the Truth. As Jesus bore witness to the truth, so must a Christian who must express determination to the truth. Truth makes a man free, no matter the circumstances (cf. Jn 8:32). A member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church family must bear witness to the truth and show love for God above all things by being honest to oneself by having a way of life according to the Gospel, dealing with people as brothers and sisters in the Lord, honoring and respecting them, and never use them as means to an end.
Harmony
The Acts of the Apostles testify that the community of believers was of one heart and mind (Act 4:32). Harmony means committing to share one’s talents for the sake of the Church and our brothers and sisters in one mind and heart for the good of the Church. Harmony is the dynamic face of unity.
Joy
Joy is “the noblest expression of happiness,” and one experiences joy when he finds himself in harmony as he encounters, shares, and communion with other people (Gaudete in Domino). God has called us to be bearers of this joy through belonging to our Parish family.
